I recently stayed at a self-catering house in Portree and it was a great experience. The location was ideal, with a central yet quiet setting, offering a lovely view. The house itself was spacious and clean, providing all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen facilities were excellent and the TVs in the lounge and bedrooms were a nice bonus. The hosts paid attention to detail, providing essentials like bread, milk, and shower utilities. it was a pleasant and convenient base for our leisure activities.

The only slight issue was with the advertised DVD player, which turned out to be in one of the bedrooms and had a noisy DVD drive.

Parking for two vehicles was a game-changer. The hosts were incredibly thorough and accommodating, leaving the house warm and tidy for our pleasant stay. The view from the house was simply breathtaking. We had a blast and would easily recommend it to a group of seven or even more. Ideal for leisure activities with excellent kitchen facilities and flat-screen TVs in every room. Plus, the Wi-Fi was on point. No pets allowed and no smoking on site.

I had a wonderful stay at a lovely self-catering villa in a great location. The house was spacious and comfortable, perfect for a large group like ours. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer came in handy after our hikes. Number 12 Self Catering Villa was absolutely perfect for our group of four men. the house offered all the amenities we needed and was comfortable and clean. Each of us had our own bedroom, providing plenty of space. We were impressed by the attention to detail, such as the thoughtful provision of milk and other essentials upon our arrival. our stay was very pleasant and I highly recommend Number 12 Self Catering Villa. We hope to return if we ever visit the Isle of Skye again. Cons: Not obvious to find at first, 🗺️.
